1. Drink Water. Drink a gallon (4L) of water every day. It’s not magic but it will help you feel full. Avoid sugary drinks as much as possible.
  2. Lift Weights. There are so many benefits to resistance training for both men and women. Start light and progress slowly.
  3. Eat Nutritious Foods. Aim for the majority of your food to come from whole foods. Fruits, vegetables, meat, eggs, whole grains, dairy,
  4. Eat Protein. Aim for 0.6 to 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight.
  5. Mobility. Stretch. Even 5 minutes of mobility work a day goes a long way.
  6. Sleep. Sleep 7-8 hours a night. Try not to have too many nights in a row with less than 6 hours. Avoid caffeine 8 hours prior to bed. Keep it dark and cool.
  7. Eat Fibre. You should be consuming 25-38 grams of fibre per day. The average person consumes 15 grams.
  8. Move Your Body. Go for a walk. Run. Do yoga. Just move.
  9. Get Sunlight. Get outside and get plenty of sunlight.
  10. Take Care of Your Mind. Meditate, read, learn.
