1. Move My Body. Whether it’s lifting weights or going for a walk, I’m making sure I get at least 30 minutes of movement every day.
  2. Read. I am always striving to learn something new. I read for 45 minutes every day.
  3. Hydrate. I drink 1 gallon of water daily.
  4. Podcasts. To really dive deep into a topic, I listen to podcasts daily. Not a hundred different ones. 3 or 4 people that I truly want to learn from. This is free education that is priceless.
  5. Mobility. I do 5-10 minutes of stretching/mobility to reduce my likelihood of injury and so that when I’m older, I won’t have mobility issues.
  6. Guitar. I play my guitar for at least 10 minutes every day. I can’t describe it, but something changes in my brain when I play guitar. I lose myself in the process. I always feel better afterwards.
  7. Write. I work on my book for at least 30 minutes every day. It’s the only way it’s going to get done. It’s very meditative for me to enter that flow state, knowing that I am slowly but surely crafting something I believe is special.
  8. Play/Relax. Whether it’s watching a tv show/sports, playing video games or catch with my son, reading with my daughter or just relaxing with my family, I prioritize relaxation and play. This usually comes at the end of the day, once my daily tasks are completed. Or I sprinkle it in throughout the day.
  9. Track My Food. I track what I eat and I focus on hitting my calorie and protein numbers. It’s not for everyone but the 2-3 minutes it takes me is worth the results and allows me to be intentional with my food intake. It also means no foods are off limits.
  10. Love. I tell my family every day, multiple times a day, that I love them. I tell my children I am proud of them, just the way they are. I don’t take one minute for granted.
