I reached out to my buddy Cam in late July 2025. I had just started my online fitness coaching business and was looking for some friends/cops to work with, to help get them in shape. Cam accepted my offer.

He began the program at 200 lbs on August 2nd and as of November 16th, he is 175 lbs. He has lost 25 pounds in 15 weeks, at the age of 47.

How did he do it?

The Plan:

Strength Training – 3 timer per week, full body workouts.

Hydration – Drink 3 litres of water per day.

Walking – 45 Minutes per day. All at once or spread out into several shorter walks.

Nutrition – We attribute most of his results to his change in nutrition habits.

  • He tracked his food in our fitness app, focusing on hitting his calorie and protein numbers consistently.
  • He still went out to eat.
  • He still drank alcohol occasionally.
  • He never restricted food. Nothing was off limits.
  • Once the habit was established, he told me he didn’t even feel like he was “on a diet”.
  • Some days, he actually had to eat MORE food, to ensure he was adequately fuelling his workouts and recovery.

Cam’s spouse, Jennifer, lost 15+ pounds during Cam’s initial 12 weeks. They started tracking their food together. They made it fun by adding in new recipes and meals that fit inside their calorie goals. They never felt like they were missing out or restricted.

Cam says that his decision to hire a fitness coach has been life changing.

“You’ve completely rewired my way of thinking. I used to procrastinate and would always convince myself that I would start back Monday. Then 3 months would go by. Now I actually wake up and get excited to get my things done. I’m so glad you reached out to me when you did. It was exactly what I needed.”

Cam is a great example of what can happen once a person is a) given a plan and b) provided with a daily accountability to his fitness habits.
